Michigan football will face off against the USC Trojans tomorrow in the Big House. Kickoff is 3:30 PM and the game will be broadcast on CBS. I don’t know about anyone else but I love a 3:30 start.
You have all morning/early afternoon to get ready for the game and then still have your night to look forward to afterward. We have another great recipe to share and a prop bet that is sure to put money in your pocket. Let’s get into it.
Recipe: Smoked brisket queso
Ingredients: velveeta, pepper jack, cheddar, rotel, canned green chiles, red onion, jalepeno, brisket (or any other meat you would like) minced garlic, ground cumin, taco seasoning, evaporated milk.
Recipe: This is a super easy one that tastes great! We are using leftover brisket that we made last week as our protein choice. Make sure you cook your protein of choice before adding it to the queso and do not rely on the smoking process while making queso to cook your meat.
Place all your ingredients into an aluminum pan to start. Heat your smoker to 275 degrees (although the exact temperature isn’t too important) and place the pan inside the smoker. Leave inside the smoker for thirty minutes and check.
The queso should be melted at this point, so you can go ahead and give it a stir. Stir all the ingredients together and lower your temperature to 225 degrees. Leave the queso in for another thirty minutes. Take the queso out, pick your favorite tortilla chip and you are ready to eat! A great beer to pair this with is from Terrapin Brewing in Athens, Georgia. It is called Hopsecutioner and has an ABV of 7.3%. A delicious and refreshing beer to pair with the rich queso.

This was a previous queso that we made using ground beef. This is before we mixed it all together.

This is after the mix ready to eat!
Michigan football week 4 prop bet:
Kalel Mullings anytime touchdown scorer at +130. Michigan football is going to run the ball early and often tomorrow against the Trojan defense.
Mullings is coming off a career best 153 yards and two touchdowns vs Arkansas State. I anticipate the Wolverines are going to be able to move the ball and when they get close to the goal line, they will be feeding Kalel. Another rushing touchdown for Mullings and another prop bet hit to put more money in our pockets. Go Blue!
