After a 3-2 overtime loss to the St. Louis Blues on Saturday (Nov. 16), the Boston Bruins had practice on Sunday (Nov. 17).
A notable player returned for the Bruins’ latest practice, as defenseman Andrew Peeke participated in a regular jersey.
This is undoubtedly a big development, as Peeke is a key part of the Bruins’ blueline. Now, with this return to practice, he has taken a big step forward in his injury recovery.
Peeke has been sidelined since suffering an upper-body injury in the Bruins’ Nov. 5 matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
While speaking to reporters, Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery shared that Peeke is doubtful for the club’s next game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Although this is the case, there is no question that the rugged right-shot defenseman is getting close to returning to game action.
