The Bruins extended their winning streak Wednesday, but all of the focus was on the continuing feud between Brad Marchand and Paul Bissonnette.
It started last Friday when the Boston captain had a hilarious clapback at Biz for comments about his hair when he mentioned the fight the NHL analyst got into in Scottsdale, Ariz. The NHL on TNT crew then taped a skit Wednesday where they “suspended” Marchand from the “Mr. TNT” award for a year. The veteran forward responded with a two-goal game, and the Bruins social team got to work.
After Boston’s 4-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks, the Bruins posted a social picture of the final score along with a screenshot of Biz wearing a neck brace with tape over his head from the skit. It was an epic social media post, but Bissonnette didn’t take kindly to it.
“Please stop. I have a family,” Biz posted on X.
Marchand got the last laugh when he was named “Mr. TNT” for his performance Wednesday night, much to Bissonnette’s displeasure. And it doesn’t look like the feud will be ending anytime soon. Luckily for Biz, Boston doesn’t play on TNT again until Feb. 5.
