The Boston Bruins have long been linked to Elias Lindholm. They heavily pursued him before the Calgary Flames traded him to the Vancouver Canucks this season. They also had conversations with the Canucks about Lindholm nearing the deadline, but a move did not come to fruition.
With Lindholm being this year’s top pending free agent, there is an expectation that they will make a big-time push for the star if he hits the market. Now, they may get a huge chance to add him.
