Manager Russell Martin insisted Saints have worked “very hard” to discover a way to stop Arsenal from set-pieces.
Arsenal have excelled from dead-ball situations under Mikel Arteta while Saints have been susceptible to conceding goals.
Arsenal scored 16 goals from corners last season – matching the Premier League record – and remain a threat this year.
Speaking ahead of his side’s trip to London, Martin said: “We got undone by a quick one which is a bit of a different scenario (against Bournemouth).
“We have a group of people that are working very hard on analysing that and trying to negate that in the best way we possibly can.
“The players are really aware and if we give away some corners and free kicks we have to be ready to stand up to it and defend it properly.
“That’s the same at any level but especially against a team with some players who attack the ball so well. They are really consistent with it
“It’s their mentality that makes them such of threat, nothing else. The quality of delivery but their mentality to actually go and put their head on it and score is incredible.”
