Today, the National Championship trophy will be paraded through Ann Arbor for the first time since the Wolverines beat Washington 34-13 in the title game last Monday — it’s a day to rejoice among UM fans. That said, something to keep an eye on is a top-ranked Michigan football commit, Chris Ewald of the 2025 recruiting class, who will be visiting with the Georgia Bulldogs later today.
Top Michigan football commit will be visiting the Georgia Bulldogs today
Jim Harbaugh recently signed his 2024 recruiting class, which was solid despite not ranking as high as some of his previous classes. Still, Michigan football is in great hands, and all attention is starting to shift toward the 2025 recruiting class heading into the offseason.
Per the composite rankings, Chris Ewald is the No. 1 Michigan football commit in the 2025 cycle — he is rated as a four-star linebacker and ranks as the No. 162 player in the country, the No. 22 linebacker in his class, and the No. 20 player in the state of Florida.
Per the On3 Visit Center, Ewald recently scheduled a few new visits, including a trip to Athens, GA, to meet with the Georgia Bulldogs today. Then again, seeing as he is a current Michigan football commit, and the Wolverines just won a National Championship, it would presumably be hard to walk away from the Maize and Blue — at least for now.

We’ll see what happens, but keep an eye on Ewald’s recruitment as other schools try to steal the 2025 Michigan linebacker.
